School Redesign
I help educators reimagine and redesign school systems that inspire, engage, and heal students and families with innovative strategies and practices that lead to greater academic success and positive learning outcomes for all.

From nonprofits to school boards to organizations, I use a comprehensive approach to engage in a deep analysis of a school and/or organization’s assets and growth possibilities to co-develop short- and long-term plans that meet the specific needs of clients and communities alike.

I work closely with school and community boards to build trusting relationships, reorganize priorities, and design retreats that meet the needs of both individuals and groups. I aim to enlighten, motivate and inspire nonprofit boards of directors, through skill-building sessions and facilitated board retreats that help them to gain greater enthusiasm, accountability and adherence to the mission of the organization.

Using a six-stage change design process and a shared problem of practice, I facilitate schools and districts through a community change design process that centers student voice and experience to reimagine schooling with innovative and proven solutions. This cyclical process helps groups of people in a network of many districts - to set goals and evaluate change throughout the district.

From designing common assessments to competency-based learning to racial equity impact studies to continuous data collections, I design evaluative processes to help schools gather and share evidence to demonstrate what works and what needs to improve. The assessment data are shared with the school community to develop system-wide shifts in mindset and attitudes that focus on compassion, gratitude, and trauma-informed practice.

I work with district administrators to co-construct a system that removes barriers and identifies the skills and knowledge that students must possess to thrive in 21st-century life. We offer Project-Based Learning, Solutionary-Based Units, and coordinated, local-based teams to remake schools that make sense.
